Although young, Atem has already proven to be a noble and just leader of the clan, listening to each dragons woes and helping everyone equally. The young dragon is assisted by his council - they call themselves The Egyptian Gods - who provide advice and experience that the young Pharaoh lacks. Atem can most often be seen in the presence of Yami, Yugi and Ryou, with whom he is good friends with, though he is closest to Yugi and the two are unafraid to share their deepest secrets between one another. Atem is also a powerful wielder of light magic, and will use it in battle to defend against any dangers the clan may face.
