Biography

"The lasting one." A warrior-goddess who is called "the nurse of warriors." Cúchulainn went to Britain to train with her and Scáthach. She was also helpful to Fionn mac Cumhaill and was therefore called "the mother of the Fianna." Conceptually she seem to be comparable with the British goddess Setlocenia and she may be the counterpart of the Roman goddess Minerva.
