"People are entirely too disbelieving of coincidence. . ." ╰━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━╯ One of the oldest gods of the realm, Gaster is the origin of magic. With his twisting forms and words, it's hard to believe that he might actually be a dragon. No one is quite sure he even has a physical form, not even the other gods. His swirling shape phases in and out of reality in wisps of smoke and shadow, flashing reds and purples as a dancing illusion. When he does choose to appear, he takes the form of a Spiral, only much larger. His bright, luminous eyes shine within the darkness that enshrouds him, gazing into the soul of those before him. In personality, Gaster is a trickster at heart. True to its nature, magic is unpredictable, and powerful, as is its creator. Despite being the origin of magic, Gaster is not selfish, rather he enjoys letting it run free within the world. He finds it amusing that mortals practice his divine craft, and can be quite intrigued when one manages to harness it. To mortals and gods alike, he offers little help when summoned, choosing only to intervene when it interests him. Most find him frustrating at best, but can do little about it. His oldest allies, Dove and Mardi, are the only two that can seem to sway him in any way. X |
