Although old Cesara mostly prefers to live in solitude these days, she still enjoys the company of her clanmates and has even made several friendships during her tenure here. She and the clan blacksmith Kalama share a particularly special bond through their kindred element of fire. Often their conversations tend to be a bit one-sided, as the young and far livelier wildclaw is more exuberant than her elderly counterpart. Despite their differences, Cesara is always happy to listen and lend her advice when it's needed.

It is a regrettably well-known fact that as a dragon nears the end of their lifespan, the enormous inner reservoir of magic becomes so unstable and dense that their bodies simply cannot withstand it. Like an overfilled balloon, their aging forms strain and creak from the abundance of energy at their cores until they simply... pop.

At first the clan was confused, and understandably unsettled, by the mysterious piles of still-smouldering fur they came across. Discarded on the farthest outskirts of their territory, some of the more paranoid individuals among them began to wonder if these charred remnants were left behind as a omen of some kind by an unknown rival
