Biography

RUSSET
Heavy Lifting and Excavations Expert

---

At first glance, this Ridgeback looks every bit like the poster child for the Earth flight - his white scales are permanently stained with mud and silt, his shining spines look all the world like stalagmites, and the painted pattern on his wings reminiscent of cave paintings - but beneath his admittedly filthy surface is a Light dragon through and through.

Russet is a scholar at heart, a Ridgeback motivated by boundless curiosity and a thirst for exploration. He is a passionate geologist, archaeologist, and excavator, a dragon with incredible talents to match his passions. He crafts baubles from the gems he digs up, weaves tales together from relics of the past, and even smelts ore he himself unearths. Having joined the clan, he now partners with Edurne to help him build living spaces for the clan's members as well as holding cells for the Stockade's prisoners.

He's undeniably a Ridgeback, quick to snipe a bit of data from another scholar or a relic that just so happened to be left unattended for too long, and he has a bit of a temper if questioned on such matters. He has a bit of a short fuse; he cools off quickly enough, but it's not difficult to get him riled up again. While he enjoys discussing his passions, he has no patience for teaching and is easily flustered when trying to explain his pursuits to dragons with less of an interest in the subject. He enjoys learning, but needs to do so on his own terms, lest he become incredibly frustrated.

Still, Russet is overall a highly intelligent and driven creature, and a welcome addition to the Stockade. He gets along quite well with the Spirals, being a bit of a motormouth himself, and shows due respect to the elders.
