Kekri
The Thorned Thief GRUMPY ✕ INTELLIGENT ✕ PROUD Kekri is a roadside thief, part of a tiny rogue pack of dragons called The Brotherhood. They're a merry group of mostly young dragons. The rogues provide the clan with stolen goods and therefore are in good terms with the Plague clan's leader Jouto. Kekri is smart and a logical thinker, and therefore she is usually the mastermind behind most of the Brotherhood's heists. She is also very stubborn and won't admit on being wrong about something. And if you disrespect her, she will call you out on it. And maybe punch your face a little bit. Kekri is pretty much the toughest one of the Brotherhood. Kekri was abandoned as a youngling. She was found by Voro, another Nocturne dragon originating from the Ashfall Waste. He took the younger one with him, saving her from starving to death. They quickly grew closer, and Voro now acts as her big brother. This young Nocturne has been mutated by the Wyrmwound's presence. There are thorns growing out of his body, but she mostly she can use them as a weapon in battles. Kekri is an old Finnish harvest festival celebrated in the autumn, similar to the Celtic harvest festivals that are the origin of Halloween.
The Lair of The Brotherhood
The lair of The Brotherhood resides close to the Kalmo Clan, hidden in the rocky part of the Boneyard. There’s a mountainside, and hidden under the dry vegetation, is a small entry inside the caverns that serpentine through the mountain. Inside, there’s a medium-sized lair as a common room for the thieves to hang out. There are trinkets lying on the ground, and the sight isn’t too tidy. Just what you would expect from young rogues who are living together. The cave is just big enough for them, but the largest dragons do need to crouch and watch their step a bit so that they don’t hit their heads or knock something over. Through the common cave there are small caves that go into the small individual nests. There’s not much room, but enough for them to have a small chest filled with whatever their personal belongings are. |
The Brotherhood
A group of dragons, who prey on roadside travelers, plundering them from their goods. They usually prey on fancy-looking wanderers, with shiny trinkets and clothing. They thieve on gold and gems, and anything that can be sold for a good price. Sometimes they get requests from the clan, and stay on a lookout for specific items.
The Brotherhood is a tightly knitted group. They are mostly younger dragons, misfits who are in for excitement and hedonistic lifestyle. The Brotherhood is like a family – every member looks after others. They act as siblings, and loyalty is valued over anything else. But they also value fun, and the ability for not answering to strict authority. Therefore, they aren’t officially members of the plague clan, but they do live in a symbiotic relationship. Each provides from the other.
They don’t actively look for recruits, but welcome similar misfits for trial times. Only the ones who are genuinely loyal to others, are welcome to The Brotherhood.
