Biography

Battlescale Helmet Glowing Purple Clawtips

"The earth shook, birthing a massive crevice to devour the persecuting foes. Moments before being swallowed up by the very ground on which they'd been firmly standing, a tinge of purple made itself known in the distance; they all cursed the name of Goliath as they met their end. "

There had been no time to grive; after the loss of his beloved Majesty, Goliath's focus shifted to the kingdom's only remaining hope--Prince Engelquill, who possessed powers beyond the known realm; surely a danger in the wrong hands. In order to guarantee his precious charge's safety, there was no other choice but to leave the Crackletail Mountains and live to fight another day. It was an excruciating chip in the Guardian's warrior pride, but just looking into His Highness' fearful yet determined set of crimson eyes rekindled Goliath's spirit.

With their home invaded and throne usurped, the prince and his bodyguard grieved alone on the road, pressing on towards the unknown to lick their wounds.

It was an arduous undertaking, this journey; the orphan Coatl in his care knew naught of such strenuous exercise and had little experience with the outside world as it was. But with strict patience and a strong back, he carried the prince far into the wilderness--right into the depths of Wilder territory.

This is where Wilder Princess Frir encountered and took them in, albeit begrudgingly. She was a strict protector of her lair, and would not normally deign to associate with outsiders during these times, but was ultimately swayed by the rumours of a magical prince. His presence among her people would be a great symbol for rebellion against their oppressors.

At first, Goliath refused to submit to her terms, deeming them undignified of a royal prince. But His Highness bowed his head low and softly asked for the Wilder's assistance in exchange for his life and service. Goliath had no choice but to comply with his charge's wishes.

And so it would be written that the lair of Engelquill was blessed to the beyond, like accompanied by an ancient entity, as the rebels took up arms against the new rulers of Crackletail.
