Ten

She was the first of the clan. Her beginnings don't mean anything to her, as she was abandoned as a mere egg. She didn't know her parents. She didn't know any siblings. All she knew was how to survive. It was more difficult than some would imagine. Being born in the lands of the Shadowbinder had its own set of problems. As a young dragon, Ten could easily see into the dark. She could see where she was going and what was around her, but the monsters that lived in the darkness shook her to the bone. The fear she had as a young and naïve dragon turned her into what she is today. She became who she was by following a strict set of rules. Rules to help her survive in even the worst situations. These rules made her strong, they made her vicious, they made her violent. Ten became a menace to anything that dared to attack her or those that she cared about. Her survival instincts and strength are what brought the clan together. Her strict rules and harsh words is what made the clan remain.

The humble beginnings of the clan began when four dragons, all needing to survive, got together with Ten. They traveled the forest in search of a home and, once they found it, they laid down the law. Ten was considered the automatic leader. Her strength and power was proof enough that she had the ability to lead. Little did the other dragons know that life in the clan would not be peaceful or quiet. The world was harsh, and only the strong survived. Some clan members said that Ten being alone since her hatching to now had made her into a survival maniac. They were partially right, but no one could say that her strict rules didn't make the clan powerful. If a dragon didn't prove their worth when arriving, and show that they were good at their job, then they were kicked out without a second thought. Ten didn't have time for weak dragons that wanted to lounge around all day and do nothing. Her goal was to make the clan survive. Her strictness was for the safety of everyone else. She cares about the clan like family, but if they can't step into line, then she can't protect them. Those that can follow her rules to the letter find themselves on her good side. Those that don't see how vicious and violent Ten can really be.
