Clan Matriarch

I could not slow down 'cause I was not afraid...
Origins - Matapedia formed the Starwide Clan after she left her home clan at a young age. She still misses the rivers in the valley she grew up in, but thinks it is for the better to have left. Her friend, Zomek, followed her to help her start the clan. He remains her second in command, even after their brief romance.

Personality - A rather flighty dragon, no one would have expected her to start a clan of her own. If her old family could see her now, they would be quite surprised. She credits the prosperity of the clan on her new family and clanmates.

Mate - Matapedia has hatched a number of nests in her time but has never settled down with one mate. Maybe some day in the future? But as of right now, she has more pressing matters to care about.

Her best friends includes one of the first dragons to join her new clan, a piebald Tundra named Ayrshire. Iris followed quickly after. Spice joined about the time Ayrshire did and joined Matapedia in the coliseum along with Nykos. Their bond is a close one.

Clan Role - She is the leader of the clan and the caretaker of all. She has been known to overextend her love at times. She also loves to hoard every piece of food that she finds. She needs to have at least one of everything! It drives Ayrshire nuts. She was also the healer of her coliseum group back in the day. Her fighting days have ended, but she still enjoys showing hatchlings and hopeful fighters the ropes.
