 B I O G R A P H Y
Aeolus was hatched on a battlefield. He was born onto a desolate plain, where he could see naught but blood and pain ‘til the earth met the sky at the horizon. And yet, though he was cursed to be born in such a wartorn wasteland, at the same time he was given a blessing. He was the last to be born of his nest, and so was the only ones out of his siblings to witness Love. He watched as a mated pair fought alongside each other to defend the lairs nests. He doesn’t quite know to this day if he was related to these dragons, but was enthralled by the way they fought together. It was if they were one dragon in two bodies. However, the instinct for battle was strong in Aeolus, even just mere moments after hatching. Driven by his longing to fight, he fled to find a place where he could hone his skills. He never found out what happened to the mated warriors, but he never forgot them. Aeolus then spent his life going from battle-to-battle, helping out where he could, training himself to be the perfect weapon. But he knew that he could never truly reach perfection unless he got rid of all his emotions. He must be like claws and teeth, just a sharp object that could be used with deadly precision. And yet, he could not shake this “love” he had seen. It always warmed his heart and, as ashamed as he would be to admit it, he longed to experience it himself. He did his best to ignore these urges, and for the most part, he succeeded. But one day changed his life forever. He met her at a victory celebration and, well, it was an understatement to say they got along. They shared stories from their pasts, bonding over a shared love of fighting and a mutual respect for the art of assassination. They chattered way into the night and, long after the other dragons had retired to their own clans to rest, they sparred to test their skills. The two mirrored each other’s moves perfectly, both unable to land a hit. Slash was met with Slash, Bolts were exchanged for Bolts, attacks colliding in a flurry of colour and energy. The pair were so in sync, it looked more like they were dancing than battling. You could say that watching them felt like looking at one dragon in two bodies. this story was done with the help of my pal choccie. :)
