______ Calafael was a warrior and served as the clan's protector since she and her mate, Talisman, founded it together. She was so dedicated to it that she even took up the clan as a whole to be her charge. However, during the clan's early years she went missing and was unable to found. Unknown to clan or Talisman, Calafael had been called into battle against a shade touched emperor dragon by her former war guild, who were an elite group of warriors that helped fight in the beastclan wars. Intending on soon returning to her charge, Calafael did not tell anyone where or why she had left. Sadly, in the act of dealing the fatal blow to the emperor, Calafael was also killed. The clan was stricken with grief at their beloved founder's sudden disappearance. Quaridectyl was one of the most effected dragons, as they had fought in the beastclan wars alongside each other, and since then had become close friends. Calafael was also the only dragon in the clan who knew Quari's mate, Rendual, before he was cursed. The dragon most effected by Calafael's disappearance however, was Talisman. The lost of his mate caused him so much grief that he secluded himself from the clan, eventually taking up his old hobby of artifact collecting.
______ Calafael's loyalty to her clan was something that never faded, not even in death. Driving by her duty to her charge, her spirit drifted until it was able to find it's way back to the clan, where it now manifests as an armored, angelic creature. She now watches over the clan day and night, never sleeping, and maintaining a powerful ward around it. Occasionally Calafael's spirit has only spoken once, being to Talisman when she first returned to the clan. Since then she has remained silent, and often invisible, but her presence can always be felt protecting the clan.
