Warin is quiet even for a Mirror, even his actions and body language comes across as muted and distant. He has a tendency to sit back and watch, waiting for the opportune time to strike for what he wants. The stark contrast between himself and Rom is surprising, and often confusing for other dragons dealing with the Sepdaki Clan. But it seems to work well for them. Warin lacks any urge to challenge Rom for dominance or enforce his own viewpoints over the clan, and therefor she doesn't see him as a threat. She doesn't seem to care much for him either, but he understands that the simple fact that she accepted him into her clan as a form of affection in its own way. Or tolerance, at the very least. Warin is a scrawny dragon as well, which perhaps explains why he relies on means other than brute force to deal with others and get what he wants. He is not outright sickly, and is able to take care of himself should he need to, but he intimidates no one - except perhaps tiny Fae - despite the reputation of his breed and flight. Instead, Warin relies on his understanding of the world and its creatures. He is the best judge of character in the clan, and he is patient enough to wait until he knows everything possible about a situation before acting. Often Rom sees this as hesitation and weakness, and it is not unusual to hear her berating him for such things. Because of this, he has started working even further behind the scenes with clan business, trying to make deals and interact with other clans without Rom's direct observation. Thankfully she doesn't seem to mind as long as he gives her comprehensive reports of everything that happens. Possible gene plans: poison/butterfly/spines???  |
