Naza the Fierce
I am the captain of this airship

The name's Naza, and I'm the captain of this crew. Don't mistake my beauty for weakness: I'm tough as nails. I hail from the light realms, and I fight for them too. Nobody can hide when exposed to the light, nor my piercing gaze. While you look for my weakness, I will already have found all of yours.

I was a bit reckless in my youth, and I made a lot of mistakes. Laid eggs, abandoned hatchlings I will never know. I had many mates in my day, though none were ever present for long. It doesn't seem to matter what I do, I find myself getting restless. Settling down... it's not my thing!

I got in a heap of trouble after a while. Made too many enemies, I should say. I was wanted both for the many crimes I had committed (petty thievery, swindling, that sort of thing). A path of light? No... I should say, it was a path of darkness. To atone, I gave away everything I had. Every drop of gold, every scrap of silk, every drop of wine... gone. I cleared my debts.

I was still young though, and despite trying to fit in and do the "right" thing, I realized that working on a farm, staying in one place just wouldn't work out for me. I began to see the injustice in that forced way of life as well. It's one thing if that's the sort of life you want to live, but the idea that you ought to stay in your hoard all day and never leave it because somebody else thinks you should? Silly.

But I was determined not to resort to my old ways. I needed to prove that I could walk the path of the Lightweaver. I worked hard, and enlisted under the watchful eye of an airship captain. Over time, he came to trust me and made me his first mate. I made friends rather than enemies, for one of the first times in my life, and it was a good feeling I will never forget.

I spend my days now, running this ship around the world... transporting folks, protecting the innocent, and doing my part to keep the Light shining.
