Even the most frozen heart melts when the conditions are right. Toltec is silent, tough and sturdy but has a gentle side, too. He crossed roads with Diarmund while searching for something to protect and after a few heated fights he decided she was worthy. Later his warm feelings have extented over the whole clan - they are his charge and his family and he's willing to do anything to keep them from harm.
He has a habit of bringing abandoned or otherwise lost hatchlings with him to the lair, something that greatly annoys Diarmund. He doesn't fuss around his new recruits but takes secret pride when he sees them flying for the first time or catching their first prey.
He was the one who made the decicion about moving the clan to a new terratory after the non-arcane members started having complications because of the exposure of Arcane energies. Altough he knows he made the right choise, he can't help but miss the days when it was just Diarmund, him and their family.

"I trust you are not planning any trouble."

Jopa jäisin sydän sulaa jos olosuhteet ovat oikeat. Toltec on kova, kylmäpäinen ja kunniantuntoinen lohikäärme joka näyttää lempeän puolensa vain harvoin.
Hänen polkunsa ristesi Diarmundin kanssa vuosia sitten hänen ollessaan matkalla etsimään jotakin suojelemisen arvoista. Muutaman rajun taistelun jälkeen hän päätti nuoren peilarikäärmeen olevan se oikea.
Ajan kanssa hänen suojeluvaistonsa on levinnyt kattamaan kaikki klaanin asukkaat - he ovat hänen vastuullaan ja hän on valmis tekemään mitä tahansa perheensä eteen.
Hänellä on tapana tuoda klaaniin hylättyjä ja eksyneitä lohikäärmeenpoikasia, mikä ärsyttää Diarmundia loputtomasti. Hän ei hössötä ottolastensa ympärillä mutta tuntee salaa ylpeyttä nähdessään heidän lentävän ensimmäistä kertaa tai nappaavan ensisaaliinsa.
Toltec oli se joka teki päätöksen klaanin laajentamisesta Lehtoemon valtakuntaan kun klaanin lohikäärmeet alkoivat oireilla maagisen energian takia. Vaikka hän tietää tehneensä oikean päätöksen, hän kaipaa silti niitä päiviä jolloin klaani koostui vain hänestä, Diarmundista ja heidän perheestään.

"Hey," said Diarmund and jumped down from the cliff, preventing Toltec from leaving.
"What is it now?" Toltec sighed. His charge had been... restless for a while now. If he was totally honest, hemight have been trying to avoid her company. It was just too tiring, being around the dragon who had once been his loyal companion but who now seemed intent on finding new ways to disrespect him at every opportunity.
The mirror bared her teeth. "I have a nest again."
"Oh. Congratulations." How many times had this happened now? Five? Six? And who was the father? He wondered if she even cared enough to remeber.
"They are yours."
Toltec froze. "What?"
"You heard me. They are yours. The magic is almost excactly like Milmunirs and... his were."
Toltec felt his heart pick up the pace. "What are you going to do with them?"
"What do you mean?" she growled, irritated. "They are our babies. I'm going to raise them and you are going to help me."
Toltec let out a deep breath. He should have known mirrors were nothing but trouble.


Trivia/Notes:

- The scars on his back were done by Diarmund. She still regrets harming him to this day.

- The runes in his skin are a manifestation of his magic, as with Diarmund. They aren't visible all the time.
