B I O G R A P H Y

Created from the beginning to be the leader of the angels, this is the only life Michael has ever known. The warrior, the leader, the judge. But deep down, he carries in his heart all manner of insecurity. Even if he was created for this job, does he do it well? He can't say for sure, as over the course of his life, all manner of horrible things happened under his rule. Gabriel tells him that he is a good leader, and that his doubts only further this belief.

He himself is not so sure of this,for he knows how many angels talk about him behind his back. They see what happened to Lucifer and fear that the same will happen to them over the slightest thing, which is not the case. Michael may not show it openly, but he is deeply saddened by the mere thought that the people he serves, the people he loves, may not love him in return.

Part of him knows this is petty...a foolish thought, and that not everyone has to love him. But he doesn't love himself very much, so he derives a lot of his self worth from feeling loved by others. It is for this reason that he doubts his worth as a leader. For shouldn't a leader be unafraid? Raphael tells him that bravery isn't not fearing at all, it's being afraid and doing what is right anyway.

B I O G R A P H Y

The life he lives is hard, and full of conflict, from within and elsewhere. He must contend with demon and fallen angel alike, though he would prefer peace with the latter, for they are after all his siblings. He hopes one day to reunite his siblings under one banner once more... to create a lasting, permanent peace.

Beyond this he also hopes to save his brother Lucifer from Hell's grasp, and he will do whatever it takes to do so, even if that means taking the burden himself. When it comes to his family, there is nothing he will not do.

Sometimes he looks out upon his domain and longs to just leave, to find some place far from heaven's pearly gates and just stay there for a while. Like the scripture says... "Everyone shall sit under their own vine and fig tree, and no one shall make them afraid." He wants to sit under his own vine, a moment alone in the shade, at home in the nation he's made.
