♡ Writer and Apprentice Lore Keeper ♡
Quiet and rather timid, Aerie often has trouble speaking her mind. She is hesitant and seeks the help of those she perceives as "more capable" to make decisions for her. She succumbs placidly to the will of her teachers and peers, even when in disagreement with them. Sensitive, shy, afraid of criticism, Aerie has a tendency to be reserved. Still, her mild nature and the serene air about her make her a dragon liked well-enough within the Clan.
As an apprentice Lore Keeper, Aerie has little time to herself. Most hours of the day find her engrossed in a lesson with her teacher—the current Lore Keeper, Bella. In the evenings, she can be found studying quietly among the foliage of the Starwood Strand, memorizing countless lines of Sornieth history. When the rare occassion arises that she is excused from her schooling, Aerie takes great joy in composing both poetry and prose.
Prince Julien took notice of Aerie when the two were young ones just old enough to have begun their schooling. Aerie was painfully diffident even in her youth, and Julien, finding her lunching alone one afternoon, took it upon himself to befriend her. It took quite a few weeks' worth of persistence to push past Aerie's shell, but once the young Imperial felt at ease, she and Julien quickly became best friends. Beneath the bubble of meekness, Aerie is charming, kind, witty; her laugh is gentle and sweet. Julien delighted in Aerie's talented writing and storytelling; his praise helped her confidence to bloom, even if just a bit. The two have remained close and often seek each other out to simply relax in one another's presence.
