Kir was born to a clan that highly valued their warriors. If you were not strong, you were cast out of the clan. Kir fought to stay within the clan when he was born. He did not want to leave the safety of his own nest. His father was an Imperial. The strongest within the lands of his fellow dragons. His mother was a Fae. Beautiful, dainty -- powerful. He was Kir. As a young Fae, he had a hard time trying to fly. His parents were embarrassed by him. They tried to play him off not as their son even if he resembled them quite uncannily. When he was old enough, Kir discovered something amazing about himself. He saw the different auras around all living things. Dragons and beast clans were not immune to his discovery. It was with this aura that he was able to pretend to be a fighter. With the brightness and dimness of the aura, he could predict when one would attack or defend. He knew how to counteract everything. Stress was the key player here. His parents were proud of him as he finally started to be a true warrior.

Kir hated it. He hated having to pretend. One evening, when his home clan was asleep, he sneaked out to travel the world. Nobody tried to find him. Nobody seemed to notice he was missing. He was content with this prospective opportunity. He started to hone his skills.

As he traveled, Kir found that dragons appreciated his skills. He was even called a Seer despite the fact he was not one. His predictions came from the way their auras were colored and how brightly they shone through his eyes. It was around this time that he discovered that he could solidify the aura (or magic as some dragons had called it). Small gems fell to the ground as the excess aura was shed from the dragon. They were happy with the stress of carrying it was released. He collected these gems. Made beautiful jewelry with them. Some dragons wanted to keep their gems. He was happy to let them keep them. He sold his jewelry. Kir was an adept jewelry maker by the time he stumbled upon a clan that heralded a Skydancer's words. He was curious. He never saw this all powerful Skydancer. Though, he had felt their aura, and it gave him all the information he needed. Though, he fit into the clan quick enough. They thought he was a Seer as well. He was not a Seer.

Then, the Fae stumbled into a cave. Ah, this was the Skydancer they were talking about. He landed on a rock that was directly in front of the Skydancer.

"You must be Dia," he spoke his tone of voice never changing. "I've heard a lot about you."

Dia had stayed quiet as he spoke these words. Kir tilted his head as he saw that she was not going to talk to him. Her aura flared as she looked away from the Fae.

"You are a seer," he said. "A powerful one. I can see that."

"You are a seer as well," she muttered. "So, you would be able to see that."

He shook his head. "I am not a seer. Merely one attuned to the auras of the living things around me. Those things that I saw were from the intensity of a dragon's aura. It will glow brighter when a stressful situation will occur. Your aura is extremely bright at the moment. Most likely from the combination of stress and your seer abilities."

He saw her sit there in stunned silence. Afterward, she dropped her head in shame. He flew onto her head before making a noise of comfort. She was ashamed of her powers. She had so much of it. His eyes glowed a light green before small orbs dropped to the ground. Blueish-green stones appeared around Dia. When the Fae lifted his head, he went to gather them up. He held out out to her.

"This is some of that overflowing magic that circling your aura. I am able to crystallize it. You should be able to sleep soundly the next couple of days."

So, he came back every few days to relieve her of the excess magic that surrounded her. She had kept the jewels before he made jewelry out of them for her. They grew closer with each new meeting. Then, they mated. She was happy with him by her side. It was at this time, they decided to find a clan that could use benefit from the both of them. So, they traveled until Dia had to find a nest to hatch her eggs.
