Biography
Mate: Jet
Role: Co-Shadow Ambassador
Zolten had a heart of stone. Well being in the Shadow Clan wasn't really all that off of having one. Many had sought to gain her heart, her pearl, and her warrior abilities. Many believed that she would be a mother to Great Warriors. Her heart never allowed itself to belong to another.
Years had past and suitors tried their hardest to win her over. Meat, gold, gems, and promises to keep her pearl safe were whispered in efforts to win her.
"Please leave me!" Zolten cried out, her pearl clutched in her claws.
"That will be enough." Every dragon there whipped his head around. Not a dragon stood in the shadowed night.
"Old spook," one of them deduced. They turned back to Zolten.
"I said that will be enough," the voice came again, but this time a dark dragon loomed out from behind Zolten. Jet stood there. Eye spots came from his wings, black crackle shone on his scales.
"How...?" Zolten scrambled back towards the group of suitors. "Who? What?" Jet raised his head.
"I am Jet, from the Arcane Clan. I believe that you will leave her alone." Jet stepped from the shadows. Zolten's circuit lit up. Pink shone around them. The suitors came forward and snatched the pearl from her protective care.
"No!" her voiced cried out. "My pearl!" Jet lunged for the dragon that had grabbed it.
"I said Enough!" his voice grew till the last words had deafened the group. Dazed the dragon who had grabbed the pearl. Zolten had grabbed her pearl back.
"Thank you.." her eyes meet Jet's purple/pink ones. Jet nodded, and left without a word. Zolten felt her heart melt. "I-I-I..."
Zolten went to her safe home. The place that none of her suitors knew. The place that Jet now stood.
"I thought you'd be here," his voice purred.
"Thank you for getting my pearl back," Zolten sat down. Her heart was breaking, she knew she wanted Jet for her own. No one else would do. It had to be...
"Look I know you've refused everyone else, and I have little to offer but..." Jet placed a claw on top of Zolten's pearl, "I want you to know, I'm here, I always will be." Zolten eyes sparkled in the light of her circuits.
"Yes."
