When Canidae was a hatchling, he was the star pupil of his nest, showing exceptional skill in battle tactics and politics. His parents were proud of him, and unlike most, his siblings were supportive as well. His first battle was against a neighboring clan. Shadow element, like him. When his chief general, Dawsyn, called out the signal, all hell broke loose. While Canidae was training, safety always came first. This real battle was murder. He saw dozens of his comrades as well as enemies be cruelly killed, their deaths being drawn out. Canidae couldn't take it. He ran away in the middle of battle, his comrades yelling insults at him, calling him a traitor and a coward. He ran until he collapsed from exhaustion. When he awoke, a green tundra stood over him. ;Hello young one. I am Syrif. I come from a Wind clan, whose territory this is. Come child, let's clean you up.; Syrif led Canidae to his new clan, where he met his mate, Tox. They live their life happily, laughing as others think they are siblings, being the same species and so close in colors.
