Biography
Murk peered into the orb she held. Her pale eyes glowed as she focused her magic onto the orb which began to faintly glow. She ran a clawed hand over the glowing sphere and fog within in dissipated, revealing a rather familiar forest. Murk held the orb up to her line of sight and concentrated while slowly closing her eyes.
She opened her eyes rather quickly and was within the shadowy forest she'd glimpsed earlier. Murk scanned the forest around her before spotting shimmering scales she knew all too well. The deep, purple scales belonged to herself or rather her younger self when she first found her new clan. The older Murk followed her for a bit before sitting down.
She was lost. Murk had gotten herself lost trying to search for jewels for her ever-growing hoard. She sighed and was about to sit down before she heard what sounded like bickering voices. Murk stood up and followed the sounds into a clearing. The clearing contained many dragons too busy arguing to notice her arrival. From what Murk could hear the dragons were fighting over who should lead the clan. It appeared that the previous leader had left or disappeared without a trace suddenly.
The remaining dragons split into two sides without warning, leaving Murk by herself in the middle. She jumped back suddenly as the largest dragon on each side proceeded to throw themselves at the other. When the dust cleared, both dragons had knocked each other out. Murk was standing close by. The other dragons turned towards her, finally noticing her presence. Due to the kicked-up dust and dirt, the remaining dragons couldn't see what happened. They assumed Murk had knocked both of the large dragons out. They began to bow to her, she was extremely confused and tried to explain what actually happened.
The older Murk chuckled to herself, even after all these years they still didn't believe her. She stood up and focused her magic, while slowly closing her eyes. When she opened her eyes she was back to the present day, although, she never really did leave. Murk stood up and stretched, before following the sound of bickering voices.
Some things never change... she thought with a slight smile.
