Raised in a barrack of the Icewarden's army, Delian was a devout ice dragon from the beginning. Since both his mother and father were busy fighting the beastclan members in the Boreal Wood, he worked with the Ice Priests to make sacrifices to the Frozen King. Every beastclan member the army brought back would eventually become a sacrifice to the Icewarden, and life was good for a while. He became a monk amongst the priests, and learned that the Frozen King was much like himself: cold-hearted and rigid. After being recognized by the Icewarden as Top Priest, he was given a familiar, and a pat on the head. This angered the other priests in his temple, so they exiled him to the Wind Flight, a prominent enemy of the Ice Flight. Delian didn't know what he did wrong. In truth, he had done absolutely nothing wrong, but why was he exiled? What had he done? This drove his cold heart to become even colder, and there was nothing he could do. Finally, too tired to even walk, he settled into a wind clan as an Ice Priest, his only friend a Tundra. This Tundra's name was Sunflower, and Sunflower made it his mission to warm his heart. Delian's smile slowly returned the more he hung out with this Sunflower, and he would even blush when he talked to him. Winter turned to Spring, and Delian's frozen heart melted for this Tundra. Sunflower would tease him every day, and it was maddening, but he still kept cool and collected. This changed however, when Sunflower confessed his love for the Skydancer, and planted a kiss on his cheek. Delian, flustered by this move, covered his face. Was this the start of a relationship that would last forever? Would life be different? |
