"Oh please, you wouldn't know beauty if it slapped you in the face with a rat." She hissed at her sister who was helping her get ready. To be honest she was acting more like a critique. "I'm just saying, you should really think of something better to wear with more flare." She suggested as if knowing anything about fashion. Could she help more, talk less? Deciding to ignore her she admired herself in the mirror, such wonderful genes she was born with, oh and that face. "You wish you had these curves." She chuckled. "Were twins..." Copia raised her brow thinking her sister dumb. Fortuna turned around glaring at her sister, then headed for the door. She was going out with friends tonight. It was someone's birthday but she was going to be the life of the party. "Don't tell mom and dad where i'm going." She spoke walking out the door. Her sister said something but the slam of the door blocked it out and she smiled giving a sigh. Finally peace and quiet around this rusty place.

Washing her skin with a soft, wet rag she dozed off, feeling tired. She'd had such a long night. Jerking her head up she looked down to see she was still covered in dirt. "Honestly, come off." She growled scrubbing piece by piece. Copia was asleep in her bed only a few feet away so she did not wish to wake her up. Getting the rag wet again she went for her face, the cold water dripping down her neck and chin giving her shivers. The group of friends had gone down into a cave they had found in the woods. Of course there was dirt, but her head hurt from breathing in whatever was down there so she wanted nothing but to lay her head down and wake up to breakfast. "You know...if you had gone out to the market when i asked then we would have soap." She gave a dull expression hearing her sisters sleepy voice. How long had she been awake? Hearing her get up she knew she was coming to help but she didn't want it. "Let me help you..." Copia took the rag and started washing Fortuna's face softly. "Why?" Fortuna asked with a sly expression. "Because you are my sister, and people think i'm you. I don't want to make a bad impression for either of us." She sighed. She finished cleaning her and laid her drowsy sister into her bed. She watched her sleep then closed her eyes herself. What a night, but it was not one to remember simply because this went on every night... |
