Biography

The Wayward Son

Born the only coatl in a clutch of snappers, Mythos was considered both a miracle and an oddity. Only a few weeks into his life, the clan's hatchery was raided by beast-clan soldiers. His mother and two brothers perished in the battle, but Mythos managed to get his sister to safety and hid until the conflict had ceased. From there he returned with his father, Hypnos, to the Southern Icefield, the birthplace of his mother.

Though his father attempts to teach him the ways of a scholar in hopes that he will follow the same path, Mythos prefers to study magic instead. He spends hours pouring over tomes and practicing his casting, all but ignoring his father's wishes. Perhaps it is this rebellious streak that appeals to his mate, Hideyo, who is seen by his father as a poor influence on Mythos' otherwise gentle personality
