A lunar eclipse is a natural event that takes place when when Earth comes between the Sun and the Full Moon and blocks the light, a "blood" moon.

When the Earth's shadow sweeps across the lunar landscape, the temperature drops radically. In fact, the resulting "thermal shock" may cause lunar rocks to crumble and gas to escape from within the moon.

Eclipse is a dark spirit.
A part of Moon which he wishes he could hide.
She appears to him when he is at his weakest.
Acting as a reminder that everything is not forever.
