Aderyn

Once Aeolia and Ichorus had laid their first clutch (and adopted several other hatchlings; no one ever said Ichorus was known for his patience) they realized they could no longer forage for supplies and protect their lair at the same time. Aderyn's strength, swiftness, and stern but kind nature quickly made her a target for recruitment. They were so persistent that the normally solitary dragon eventually gave in and joined their clan.

Aderyn's position as guardian (and the fact that many of the clan's dragons grew to maturity under her watch) has made her something of a second matriarch in the eyes of the clan. Even Aeolia and Ichorus have begun treating her as such—despite the fact Aderyn may take any mate she wishes, it isn't unusual for the three of them to be found curled around each other at night.
