Spellchaser is a witch, and a very talented one at that. Her power comes from a unique source, Not from inner power but from an outward force, specifically Odimona, the necromancer. When she was still young, she was in an accident where both her parents died and left her on the verge of death. Odimona, who was born with all the gifts for a necromancer, attempted to nurse the dying guardian to health, but to no avail. After Spellchaser had passed, Odimona felt so bad for her that she did her best to reconstruct her shatter bones and stripped wings. She went to baldwin's brew and, with the help of Dianthia the alchemist, used the little thing's frayed tufts of hair and burnt wing skin to brew her a new skin covering. She used magic to reshape what was left of her bones, and dyed feathers she collected from the tome that hovered above her as she lay dying- perhaps some kind of loyal companion. Finally, Odimona linked the two using her magic, connecting Spellchaser's life to hers. This weakened her own magic significantly, but filled Spellchaser with magic as a life force. When spellchaser finally awoke, she had no memories. The first thing the new Skydancer saw as she woke up was Odimona, chanting with tears at the edge of her eyes, and she fell in love instantly. Odimona was terribly happy to see the little gal alive again and the two are inseparable- literally. Spellchaser can not wander off too far from Odimona without becoming weaker and weaker.

Spellchaser is a very kindhearted soul. She knowsthat a total stranger chose to give up much of her magic for the skydancer, and so she is compelled to do all she cna to help others with her second chance. She loves to make friends, and trys to greet each newmember of the clan first chance she gets. Her fire magic is powerful enough to set forests ablaze, but she mostly uses it to cook food and is an impressive chef. She cooks up all kinds of delicacies, especially for the younger, pickeier members of the clan.

This spirit that follows Spellchaser around has done so for quite some time now. the ghastly creature could tell that she was teetering between the worlds of the living and the dead, just as it was trapped, though far closer to living. spellchaser is fond of the kindered spirit, and the two are close, the spirit protecting her from the constant draw of the realm of the dead. 16477.png

Spellchaser goes on constant journies, using the amazing magic she's gained from the now weakened Odimona to find a way to sever their permanent tie and make it no longer a necessity but a bond of love. While the two are very happy and very much in love and Odimona reassures her its not a necessity, Spellchaser wishes to be able to give something big back to the dragon who saved her life and stole her heart. She's become incredibly talented at fire magic, both because of her birth and because she too is a being that feeds and consumes energy to live. She control flame and bends it to her will with ease, and is using it to try and find another fuel for her fire.
