Biography

Kyanite is one of the clan's core members, a rebellious and smart-mouthed skydancer from the Tempest Spire. She wanted to invent and tinker, not just labor under the demands of the unpleasable Stormcatcher. She flew north into the Hewn Ruins (she didn't actually know where she was going), where she got in a nasty battle with a Tengu Caller. In that fight, her orb was cracked, impairing her natural empathy. As a result, Kyanite is a poor judge of character and frequently steps on people's toes (metaphorically speaking).

Kyanite is a scavenger now, bringing back bits and bobs for the clan and using them in her own inventions. Sometimes they work, sometimes they don't, but it's all hers.
