Persephone is one of Dmitry and Aphrodite's favourite customers. She always has her ear to the ground for the latest styles and trends, in order to keep up with them as best she can. Unlike her fashion advisers, however, she doesn't look down on those that don't keep up with the trends, acknowledging that not everyone has the time or the interest like she does, and she is generally a very friendly and out-going dragon. She can often be seen spending time at the Plastered Serthis. With regard to her model counterparts, Persephone has viewed Tropicana with a fair bit of distaste since the moment the two met. Because Tropicana acts so snobbily toward the less fashion-forward dragons, she can't bring herself to get along with her, though Tropicana views her as more of a friendly rival than anything else. Duskfall is a bit of a different story. His flamboyant attitude caused her to think very little of him when the two first met, seeing a dragon who cared more for his appearance and competition among the models than for anything much else. Unfortunately, because they both moved in the same social circles, Persephone found it to be night impossible to avoid Duskfall, and so begrudgingly accepted his presence. This allowed for a bit of a mutual friendly rivalry to form, and Persephone became more and more dedicated to trying to look her best, convinced she could outshine him and maybe knock him down a peg. As they both inevitably spend a lot of their time in the Plastered Serthis, they had to speak to each other more often than Persephone had anticipated, and though she dreaded the little conversations at first, she eventually found him to be not only friendly, but that she also had a fair bit in common. She became more willing to be around him, and felt less pressured to compete, realising that they really were fairly equal. The two became closer and closer as the rivalry fell through and they became friendlier and friendlier, until they became the power couple they are today. Together, they are the envy of many a dragon, their fans torn between supporting them and wanting to be them. Mate: Duskfall  |
