He used to have all of these dreams, back when he was young. He'd dream that reality would split open and that many roads that weren't there had suddenly opened up for him to walk. He was a practical dragon and taught little of his dreams, but his clan leader did not; when he started dreaming about following the impossible roads and met the Gladekeeper, he wasn't allowed to squander his talent any more. His home was not impressive, it was a small clan of dragons who were acquaintances more than family and Morgan had been an orphan raised without any real attachment to anybody. But being sent away to hone that strange 'talent' that made no sense to him at the time? He was exalted to the goddess of the green and that was a painful thing.

But he begun to feel at home quicker than he anticipated among others who thought like he did. Although he couldn't quite put his finger on why that was, or even what the similarity was. He became the apprentice under an ice dragon, who taught him about the way of dreams, both of the sleeping and woken kinds. He traveled with her across the Labyrinth. Nalkei, as a trained, exalted shaman, didn't lack for work even though her element was a bit unconventional in the setting at hand. The two traveled alone for a time, then slowly gained traveling companions. Abigail. Creek. Gawain. Some who have since left. Each had their own purpose. Or perhaps they had none and that was the reason.

Morgan learned how to see from Nalkei. And he saw many things, the colors of living beings and the songs of the land as they unfurled so very, very slowly in a great symphony. He saw the songs of dragons, too, and once he saw them, he learned to heal and correct that which was sung out of tune. He eventually healed the dragon who would become his mate several years later, and the party journeyed until Nalkei was too old to roam. She has a new apprentice now, Morgan being fully fledged and teaching the art himself.

Morgan now oversee the exaltation process of others, and the warriors who train for the purpose. His mate Abigail is running the more physical side of those things with lodging, food and tutors for those who dedicate themselves, because Morgan still dreams more than anything else. He knows how to dream for others now, how to dream their songs until they sing dree from discord.
