In his youth he was abandoned by his family and raised by a small serthis clan. From them he learned his dancing and became almost a brother to fellow dancers Ira and Ria. Together they are a family that orignally wandered with the travelling circus. After the circus' disbanding, he joined the theatre troop that emerged from the ashes. Since Clan Willowbrook is friendly towards serthis, he found it was the best place to stay and became an actor and dancer for the theatre.

*there is the sound of music coming from one of the tents, out of curiosity the visitor pokes their head inside. The tent is incredibly empty, with only a handful of crates being pushed to the sides. Just to the left of the door two serthis with deep purple scales are curled around each other and appear to be napping upon a small mound of pillows. They are finely dressed in silks and have beads strung through their long hair. The music seems to originate from an enchanted harp playing on its own accord not far from them.* *the center of the room there is a dark scaled wildclaw, he is adorned with flowing silks, ribbons hanging off of his wings and jewels clung to his claws. The visitor finds themselves completely entranced by the dancing wildclaw, every movement seems perfect and incredibly soothing. They find themselves sitting down in the doorway, their eyelids becoming heavy as they feel every tension and stress begin to evaporate.* Sorry my friend, I wasn't paying attention and I may have gotten carried away. *a voice wakes the visitor up from their nap. The music has stopped, the wildclaw is standing over the visitor, while the two serthis dancers are giggling and fiddling with the beads in the others hair behind him. The visitor looks up confused and the wildclaw helps them to their feet* I am Astaire and the lovely ladies behind me are Ira and Ria. *the two serthis wave at the visitor* I have a rather hypnotic effect with my dancing and you may have gotten a bit caught up in it while I was practicing. *he smiles apologetically* I hope I haven't kept you from an appointment, I'm not sure how long you've been asleeps so if you had business with Barnum or another of the circus I may have made you late. *after a bit of reassuring the visitor convinces Astaire that they had been just passing through. He appears relieved and nods* That is good to hear. Well, as I said. My name is Astaire. I perform a dancing routine in the bigtop with Ira and Ria, although I try not to make my audience fall asleep when I'm doing those shows. *he chuckles a bit.*
