Vykos is not particularly talkative, but he is the clan's silent military mastermind. When he does talk, he tend to come off as gruff and blunt. He does have some respect for Xenera, another great fighter of the clan, but true to his nature he doesn't say much about it. She's the only dragon whose presence he doesn't seem to ignore or simply tolerate, even if he barely speaks to her. Some of the others believe there is something going on between them, but for the most part it's just two skillful warriors who are good at what they do and respect each others abilities. That's not to say, however, that they haven't had the occasional fling. One of the clan's newest arrivals, Evriene, looks up to him a lot, but he doesn't seem incredibly impressed or interested.
