Laqueus was once an apprentice of Baldwin, although the old dragon had banished Laqueus from the alchemistry lab for his eccentric experiments. Undaunted, Laqueus began his experiments at home in earnest, and he created the Leftover Residue that he named Rosalind after a legendary alchemist. With his dutiful Residual assistant, Laqueus continues to push alchemy to dizzyingly new (and explosive) heights.
