Metanio is very well known in the clan, and knows almost everyone personally. Well-loved and trusted by most, he is a social butterfly, flirting from place to place, ensuring that the clan is running smoothly. He is something of an inter-community diplomat, in fact. He mediates when issues arise that aren't severe enough to necessitate the attention of the full council, but are problematic enough that they can't be left without a guiding hand to solve them. He also officiates Council meetings, and keeps said meetings from devolving into meaningless arguing.

One of his most defining features is his constant admiration for his much more reserved mate, Parron. If you get him talking about her, he can gush about how much he loves her for hours, much to her embarrassment.
