Doc is the ruthless leader of the clan. At a young age the skydancer was known for his rather sadistic way of hunting, playing and gutting the animals while they were still alive. He was also often disagreeing with the other hatchling his age Tenor and getting into scuffles with him. They were both determined to be the new leader when Silven retired, as originally the system had been based on votes of the clan.

As Doc grew his... madness became more apparent. He grew a silver tongue however, and many dragons became loyal to the glimmering dragon. He took his mate Liana, a harsh Imperial with a bit of a sadistic side of her own. Together they began chasing off dragons of the clan who apposed them, though not directly... sabotage by causing in-clan arguments and mysterious disappearances of dragons whittled the once huge clan down to a small size... Tenor being one of the few to have not left. When it came time to choose the new leader, Doc and Liana won by a landslide... if only because almost everyone who would have chosen Tenor was either dead or had left the clan.

After the two became co-leaders, the clan started to change drastically. They claimed that a true clan should be run by a linage, not just anyone, and declared the clan a monarchy. Doc himself began hand picking the new members of the clan, determined to bolster the clan back to it's 'former glory' in the Icewarden's honor. He is still determined to chase Tenor out one day... though Tenor is determined to overthrow the mad king.
