Cheerful and generally at ease with his surroundings, this guardian seems keen on providing assistance to anyone who crosses his path. For a fee, of course - after all, a guy's gotta make a living.

To hear it from Desbirst, life in a clan of seers is a mire of tedium and boredom. After all, if you already know what's going to happen, it takes the surprise out of everything. Being the spawn of Clan Raire's matriarch only served to put pressure on him to pave the way for the future told to Killa by the bubbles drifting up from Spiral Keep, keeping the cogs in place and making certain that the correct future took place.

Quite frankly, Desbirst wanted nothing to do with it.

Rather than argue with his mother and debate if the future would happen whether or not you so much as lifted a finger (which would definitely lead into another lecture on the nature of doomed timelines), he left his home in the Chinkina Atoll. It is up to you, dear comrades, to decide whether or not seeking employment with Clan Ith (and later the League) is the spiritual equivalent of running away to join the circus.
