Biography
THE GARDENER
.:/~*~\:.
Evergreen- a plant that retains green leaves throughout the year.
.:/~*~\:.
Flowers grew all about her.
She was a creature of sorrow, everlasting in her mourning. Weeping at the dawn and the dusk and the becoming of all things, bittered by the knowledge that, one day, she'd bear to lose them; at their loss she wept still more, tears pooling in quiet ponds and whispering rivers and thriving lakes in the vast gardens of the Temple. Crystalline and pure these waters ran, gifting life, new and old, to all who drank, and filling voids in hearts and minds alike with silver flame and efferent light.
As her tears graced the earth, flowers and vines and berries and fruits flourished. Beneath each paw, the grass sprung; within each breath, new life was birthed. She wept at the beauty of her gift, so moved was she by this grace to create and the curse to watch it crumble alike: and so the meager garden of the Temple grew, and flourished, and turned from desolate earth marred by the Shade, to a vast Sanctuary unlike any other.
And in the heart of these gardens, settled in silence, still as stone save the murmur of her breath, curled about the shrine of her lost love, she mourns. Flowers and vines and things of hope and joy weave between her fingers and toes and lace all about her, growing with more vibrance here than anywhere else; and yet, still, always, she weeps. Amidst the beauty of her creation, within the soul of grace itself, she cries.
