Glory Be the Plaguebringer!
Her egg came from the Scarred wasteland, but came loose from its nest and drifted through the waterways to Nature's territory.
It is from there that Tetani inherited her eye colour, but she remained a Plague dragon at heart - and when she was drifting on the air currents, she was spotted by Sheila, who coaxed her down.
The mirror matriarch offered Tetani the chance at a new home: a clan made up of many breeds from many elements, with no set rule as to which of the Gods must be worshiped by the whole (although, being in the Stormcatcher's territory, hard work is emphasised a little more than any other traits)., but home to many breeds from many elements.
Tetani was unsure, initially - would they accept an ostensibly Nature dragon identifying so strongly with the Plague flight? - but after encountering Shiree, who is a Lightning dragon no matter what her eyes say, Fred the fire-obsessed but Light-eyed Imperial, and so many others, she knew she had found a home.
Tetani, from Clostridium tetani, the bacteria conveying a particularly-well-known disease from... aha... rusty nails.
