As one would expect from the average Snapper, Sunderstorm is steadfast and even-tempered. She is placid enough to endure Arctora's pestering in regards to her Flight element, and has patiently helped the little Tundra to learn many of the secrets of Ice magicks. Although one wouldn't think it of such a mild-mannered creature, Sunder can certainly throw her weight around in a fight; she also isn't the least bit shy about using her talent for Ice casting to defend herself and her clanmates.

Sunder enjoys digging, and is usually the first dragon her lairmates turn to when excavating is required during gathering excursions. Her unyielding determination and almost simple single-mindedness are great assets when it comes to digging up valuable gems and ores. This Snapper's skill at turning up priceless finds underground have quickly endeared her to Veil. Without her steady income of gems and precious metals, he would soon be out of a job as the lair's jeweler.

Despite having a talent for turning up valuable gemstones, Sunder's true passion lies in collecting enchanted ice crystals. She and Palla have long since come to a quiet understanding - the Skydancer guards Sunder's beloved frozen treasures (kept in a special chilled section of the lair, of course) as if they were as valuable as the heaps of coin and expensive armor sets she watches over in the lair's vault.
