Biography

Dowiana was one of those spur-of-the-moment connections that only Azla can make. Azla does not have time to pore over the AH pictures, but the book was open....Azla says her personality jumped right out of the page; so did her name. Like the Cattleya dowiana, queen of the orchids, Dowiana just scintillates. She is high energy, high interest, unfortunately high maintenance I think. With the right effort we think she can be directed toward the Great Cattleyas found here in the Nature realm. Her color alone precludes her placement elsewhere.
