Yaneka began his life as all but a prince, destined to take charge of the Fifth Ward of the Fortress of Ends upon his mother's retirement. However he was as arrogant as he was headstrong, and began to butt heads with his companions and superiors, assured of his position and knowing no fear nor rival up until the moment he came to a rival who he could not best, Icewarden himself.

Rather than kill or imprison him for his lack of respect, it was decided that he would be removed from his status, and from the fortress itself entirely.

OFFICIAL BIOGRAPHY

Yanega was cofounder of clan Llanai and ruled along side Naira. The two families then ruled the clan in joint until Yanega's line abruptly ended. Reasons for this event are unknown, but it has caused a general erasure of Yanebaudekat from the clan's oral history until recent years.


RECORD KEEPER'S NOTES:

Naira and Yanega were viewed strictly as historical figures before Remus's discovery of their spirits and the subsequent reconstruction of Clan Llanai's records. The two were also, somewhere along the way, amalgamated into a single figure named Llanai after whom the clan is named.
