Mishka's Aide
(Guard, Handmaiden, Adviser) "The cold doesn't bother me nearly as much as you do." - - - The Clan progenitor recently took on Livegre as an aide to assist in her leadership duties as the lair continues to grow. When Mishka is visiting with Clan members or observing the day's activities, Livegre is not far behind, her keen senses of hearing and smell always on alert for potential threats. Her "off duty time" is often limited, as Secundus is away for lengthening periods of time for dominance battles and relations with other Clans, but the time she does get to herself is usually spent reading or flying. - - - Since nearly all of her immediate family have gone to serve the gods, Livegre has no one to visit, and so pours every ounce of effort and devotion into her job. Tishen has taken up quite a fascination with her, but like the Southern Icefields in which she was born, she is nothing short of cold, aloof, and difficult to get close to. Though she spurns (mostly) all of Tishen's attempts to befriend her, she has, on occasion, caught herself studying the patterns of his fur, or his silky ginger mane... until she mentally scolds herself. Since her family has all but disappeared, she refuses to allow herself to get attached to anyone. A close relationship can only end in betrayal and disappointment... right? - - - Recently, Livegre had been privy to discussions of moving the Clan once again. Even since moving from the Viridian Labyrinth to the Crystalspine Reaches, Mishka has felt restless, her curiosity not sated by the skyscraping pink structures of Arcane territory. She had been considering visiting Dragonhome for some time, to pay homage to the Earthshaker and the origin of all dragons, but Livegre had been adamantly suggesting the Southern Icefield. Tundra dragons are winter's children after all, and Livegre longs for the glittering snow of her home, much more welcoming than the empty, windy crevasses of the Starfall Isles. - - - Ultimately, the clan progenitors decided to go back to their home in the Everbloom Gardens. The clan had grown too large for any lair there, however, so they had to forge new paths and make their dwelling in the humid Gladeveins. Not one to voice her complaints, Livegre obliged her charge and stayed with the clan, but the oppressive heat and humidity takes a toll after a while. Natives of the tropics, Mishka and Tishen have no problem keeping cool, but Livegre often wears her ice magic thin attempting to keep herself from fainting. |
