Auryon was born in autumn in a forest clan in the Viridian Labyrinth. While growing from a hatchling to an adult, she mostly stayed with her parents. She raced through the woods with her mother and helped her father with various creative escapades. One day, she came upon a couple of the clan's hunters at target practice, and was instantly fascinated. They could remain completely still for what seemed like hours before finally loosing a silent, deadly arrow and hitting a minuscule target. She began to watch them every day, and as soon as she was big enough, one of the hunters gave her a bow of her own. The hunters taught her to shoot and how to make and repair arrows. She soon became a talented archer, but she had little interest in hunting. When she outgrew her first bow, she put her bow-making skills to the test and discovered that years of helping out with her dad's projects had paid off. By the time she decided it was time for her to leave her birth clan, she already had a reputation as a skilled fletcher and bowmaker.

Auryon always enjoys honing her skills and solving new challenges. She's always experimenting with perfecting her bow and arrow designs, and occasionally trying her hand at making other things like spears, javelins, and even toys for hatchlings. She can focus on a project or a problem for weeks at a time, even when she's not in her workshop testing her ideas.

She's fairly good at getting along with other dragons, despite the fact that some find her unapproachable because of her intense focus. Though she doesn't usually like to work for free, she's very generous with her close friends.
