Astra found her place in the perihelion early on; she helps to temper younger, weaker, or more inexperienced dragons and acclimates them to the powerful magics of the furthest corner of the Starfall Isles. Before visitors leave, she ensures they have become strong enough in the presence of magic to endure the journey out of Arcane land. As residents slowly accept the raw power of the magic surrounding them, she ensures their safety, is adamant about their gradual study lest they consume more power than they are able to handle.

Her secondary role is that of scribe for the clan's wealth of knowledge. The interactions of life on the edge of plague and arcane boundaries has proven to be quite beyond expectations...

Through her work and demanding studies, Astra has made a comfortable home for herself in the Perihelion, acting as the first chair of the Acolytes of the Seventh Star.
P E R S O N A L I T Y
The milky skydancer is, surprisingly enough, one of the most gullible in the Perihelion. Yes, she will require irrefutable proof at some point, but if you act as though you have it and truly know what you're talking about...It might be a while before she asks to see that proof. Her gullible nature might also be a byproduct of her timidity; Astra is not that shy, but she would rather spend less time chatting and more time working. It rarely helps that her experiences holding conversation with strangers have never led to much good.
