             Located on the high street is a strange tower topped by a glass dome. From the road various instruments are just barely visible, each more complex than the last. This is where Keen spends his evenings studying the night sky in his endless pursuit for answers from the stars. Related to these ventures he also sells his findings to Kvasir, who in turn feeds them as fortunes to a plentiful customer base in the form of dragons and beastclan alike who are equal parts desperate and curious for answers to their quandaries. This side business is what keeps the lights on and pays for improvements to his instruments.

             Keen started out as a pool scryer like his former student, Aysun, but his pursuits eventually had him looking skyward. His age and intellect have led to him being heralded as among the elite in the city. He is often up all night working and sleeps in the middle of the day. Nearly every evening and morning his husband, Norven, will join him in the observatory. Keen now keeps a few blankets near his work station for the rare nights when the other Tundra happens to fall asleep while keeping him company. Lately his work has brought him concerns. Yet, he can't bring himself to reach out to the elusive Tiris.

Mishka's beloved Nivur wasn't the only dragon to go missing for years, only to return with no memory of the ones they had left behind. Keen fought tooth and claw to find some way of making his husband remember him. Nothing worked. Love was all that remained, and that was enough. They've both worked hard to rebuild their relationship.

While Keen isn't the most fond of the wily Ridgeback, he can appreciate his tenacity and know-how when it comes to cornering a market. Keen tells him the movement of celestial bodies in exchange for coin, and Kvasir gets to weave his tales of futures and fortunes with them.
