Loukios

As the son of a prominent council member from another clan, Clan Spinelside was excited to bring the young coatl in. Loukios was, at first, shy and self conscious. His previous clan was quite strange and harsh, and he felt he would be unable to live up to his parents' potential. Despite his self-doubt, Loukios kept up a fake persona of a charismatic young leader in hopes of one day having this persona becoming his true nature. It seemed Loukios was going to grow into his role as a leader naturally, even if it was growing gradually.

And then he met Rhoda.

To him, Rhoda was one of the most beautiful dragons he ever met. She was nice to him, believed in him, encouraged him, but it was all just a way to get him to open up to her. When the two finally grew close, Rhoda tempted him with instant gratification by telling him she could imbue him with her powers to charm others. However, it came with a price. He had to give her his soul. Trusting Rhoda with both literally his soul, and metaphorically his heart, he gave her his soul. Instantly, there was a great change. His ability to feel empathy diminished, but his ability to gain the affection of others became magically enhanced. Without the ability to feel guilt, he could use others however he wished. Surprisingly, he does not regret selling his soul, as he now feels his previous empathy was what hindered him to become great.

To test his new-found powers, he went outside the clan to join a couple of theatrical caravans. He began doing plays in other flights with these caravan. And, with much glee, realized the audience loved him. His acting became profound thanks to these new powers. Loukios could charm the public, and everyone loved him! He jumped from smaller theatrical caravans to bigger and bigger ones, until he even being a star on the biggest stage in Light Flight's most shining stage didn't satisfy him anymore. No. He wanted more.

So he came back to Clan Spinelside, only to hear tale of a couple of dragons fighting for the right to lead the clan. The current leaders were deemed too guilt-stricken and emotionally exhausted to continue their harsh duties, and thus many believed a new leader was needed to bring the clan back to it's youthful prime.

And the thought of him and his god-like mate becoming the leaders, no, rulers of the clan made Loukios more giddy than ever before. The final stage was set for him, and he was going to take it.

And no one was going to get in his way.

"This flamboyant idiot doesn't deserve to be my rival."

The only other dragon that rivals his charisma, and it really peeves Loukios off. Alucio is also fighting to take the leader role from Cassius, which makes Loukios extremely uncomfortable. Another pinkish coatl trying to be more popular than him? Never! Although Alucio is trying to gain political power for genuinely good reasons, Loukios feels it's a personal attack to get the upper hand on him and Rhoda. He wants to destroy Alucio, one way or another, and gain control of the clan himself just to rub in Alucio's face.
