Though Susurrus appears to have normal hearing, she is mute and cannot understand any form of language, including the written word. She is driven by an overpowering desire to help other dragons in need, but unfortunately her attempts always backfire: upon looking into her eyes, anyone who sees her is haunted by her forever. She has withdrawn into the deepest reaches of the Starwood Strand, where she interacts only with beings immune to her curse. Sometimes, however, she is able to use her powerful and far-reaching Arcane magic to aid travelers without requiring direct interaction.

Like her twin sister, Silverspun, Susurrus's origins are unknown. Given her striking resemblance to the crystalline trees of the Starwood Strand, rumors abound that she did not hatch from an egg, but was rather created by the forest itself.
