B I O G R A P H Y

Rinus runs through the trees, laughing. "I'm coming for you!" He laughs and looks back, making him trip over a log. He tumbles, and rolls. He sits there, and brushes dust off himself. "Rawr!" A huge imperial comes flying over the log, landing on Rinus. Rinus yelps. The big imperial picks him up and imitates biting him, his whiskers tickling Rinus. Rinus squirms trying to get down. "Dad! Put me down!" The big imperial laughs and gently sets Rinus on the gorund. They sit, and talk, breathlessly, for a while. His father then beckoned for him to follow. Rinus, curious, picks himself up off the ground and follows. His father weaves in and out of trees, and at last he goes through a cluster of big bushes. Rinus jumps through behind him. His eyes widen. He is sitting on a cliff, the edge not far from him. In the horizon you can see the sun setting, it's rays spreading beyond Rinus's sight. "Wow," he breathed. Rinus's father walks to the edge and sits, looking back at Rinus, silently telling him to come. Rinus walks over at sits next to his father. His father puts an arm around him, and Rinus and his father sit watching the sun set in the distance.

Rinus now sits alone on the cliff. His father couldn't join him this time, as he had to do "clan leader work". He sighs, closing his eyes, and imagines the time when he will be clan leader. A scream in the distance makes his eyes snap open. Rinus jumps up and starts sprinting. He, like his father, also became a big imperial, and his long strides get him to the clan lair in no time. He sees a bear at the entrance, his father confronting it. It's a male bear, most likely trying to take this land as it's territory. The bear lunges at his father. His father, now slow and unsteady from age, trys to dodge the huge claws. But the bear catches him right in the chest, throwing him back. Rinus snarls and runs straight at the bear. The bear was unsuspecting, focusing only on Rinus's father making him not sense Rinus. He slashes the bear down the back, and the bear roars in pain. Turning to Rinus now, it lashes out, Rinus dogdes, but not quick enough. The bear catches Rinus on his hind leg. He continued to fight the bear, and successfully killed it, although he didn't escape unscathed. Rinus now held much respect, but now he felt like a clan leader was not the role for him. Clan leaders were taught to fight, but not as well as warriors. After this encounter Rinus stepped down from his birthright, and started training as a warrior.

B I O G R A P H Y

Rinus became a brutal warrior. He fought with no mercy, his anger still, and always fresh from the sight of his father being thrown like a rag doll. His father never recovered, and got an infection in his wings when they were shredded, from the bears dirty claws. Their clan didn't have the medicines needed to heal him, and Rinus's father died. Naoki, when she was clan queen, visited Rinus's clan, requesting warriors to borrow until there clan was big enough to fend for itself. Rinus volunteered.

A fearless warrior, Rinus was immediately appointed General. He knew many fighting tactics, and he trained the whole clan in the basics. But, as the clan got bigger he started to not be able to keep up. And as if called for that reason, a fierce mirror dragon, by the name of Vandr, showed up. Vandr had been abandoned by his battle troup, and been picked up by Articknight. He was found weak and horribly injured, but was nursed back to health by Knuckle. Vandr and Rinus would go out in search of dragons to join their clan as warriors. They found many, but only a cunning wildclaw, Kimba, became a General.
