Alica was a gift by several dragon scientists of the Lightning Flight, as a thank you to the Haelfury Clan for helping them out in a quite dire situation.

After an experiment deep beneath The Shifting Expanse, an reactor overheated and caused an uncontrolled discharge in the caves underneath. Several coils exploded over the earth, and caused Earthquakes that even the dragons in Dragonhome could feel. Under the earth caves collapsed and dragons where fried alive by the lightning that had now free reign under the earth, thanks to the malfunctioning reactor that was still powered by the remaining coils that where still struck by lightning over the earth.

The lightning dragons, mere scientists that were not able to deal with the raw power of the element, sent out a call for help to all flights, but the Haelfury Clan was the first to answer. Quickly Takora formed together a squad with her most skilled warriors, and went on her way to rescue the dragons trapped underneath the earth.

While other dragons had difficulty even approaching the cave complex with the malfunctioning generator, the earth dragons could easy endure the lightning strikes with their stone hard hides. Takora split up her squad in two teams. The first team should cut the power cables that lead to the generator over the earth, the other one with her as leader should burrow through the collapsed caves in hope to find the survivors.

Takoras team did quickly progress thanks to the Fae dragons and their powerful earth magic, which allowed them to simply push the stone back where it belonged, while the other team with their speedy mirrors quickly ripped the power cables apart, and so cut the main energy of the generator. But despite that, the generator was still online and uncontrollable discharging the lightning.

As Takoras team reached the generator room, the huge beast stood roaring before them, letting lightning strike everywhere. While sending her whole team would be suicide, since even a full grown Guardian would be dead on the spot when struck by this monster, Takora decided to go and face it alone. She ordered her squad to stay back, and her Fae Dragons fashioned an armor made out of stone and magic to protect her. The dragoness charged head first into battle, and towards the generator. The first lightning strike hit her hard, and let the large Guardian fly across the room. Smoking, the dragoness stood up again, but was all in all fine. After dodging several near hits of lightning, she finally reached the generator and jumped behind it, and ripped the control unit with her pure muscle power off the generator. That lead the generator to do an automatic shutdown, and the beast was silenced once again.

Meanwhile the second squad had arrived and they immediately started to search for any survivors. To their luck, they found a few corridors down a bunch of dragons that had hid themselves away, and they were all safe and sound thanks to the efforts of Takora and the Haelfury Clan.

But all of that information is classified, and so no one really knows about the honourable deed of the Clan.


Alica is a highly developed, self aware robot, fashioned after a female Guardian Dragon. The highly advanced technology within her allows her to read the complex emotions of dragons, and process and answer to them in a nearly emotional fashion. While she has no feelings of that sort, she is able to react to other dragons and to comfort them in times of need, or if they just need to talk. Her voice is rather melodic and soothes many dragons when they have emotional stress.

But her main purpose is the defence of the Lair, the Brood and the Hoard. Her weapon systems are exceptional. She can shoot a beam of concentrated lightning as breath weapon, which rivals the power of real lighting. Her vision is excellent at day, and she can see perfect at night, and also can toggle a heat vision if needed. For close combat she can discharge lighting from all around her body, which lead to very unpleasant and highly painful electro shocks.

She is powered by the Shale Thrasher that is her companion, when both are near each other, they create a magnetic field that charges up her power storage.

Her processor power is immense and she can within seconds recall detailed maps of all the flight territories, an accurate map of the lair, the contents in the hoard, and much more. She is built that her AI learns itself new functions and patterns and so gets more intelligent each day.

When he has no active duty to perform, she can be often found in the library and scanning the old scrolls and books into her system.

Generally she is programmed to listen at any cost to Takora’s words, but as she gets slowly more self-aware each day, she starts to make more and more decisions herself.
