Biography
Seiotar is an earth deity, and the spirit of the Seiten Mountain range. He is the very stones of the mountain, the ridges of his body form every bend and edge of the rock. His wings blow dust through the dry air, and his voice rumbles through the depths. Shrines/Altars: Seotar represents the entire mountain range. However, his primary locus is the largest and most prominent mountain (called Seiotar) for which the entire range is named. Offerings: Seiotar is very important to miners that dig for gems and metal ore in the mountains. They pray devotedly to him, in hopes of avoiding the cave-ins, avalanches and mudslides cause by his grumbling. A piece of metal, a gem, or special stone may be intentionally left behind as a consolation/acknowledgment of Seiotar. Others offer their mining tools, or clay or stone sculptures of the spirit. Epithets: Rocky, Ridged, Far Reaching, Deep Voiced, Treasure-hearted, Son of Zeme, Son of Earth, Shaker, Roarer, Rumbling |
