The widowmaker 
Unlike her younger brethren, this lady has no cheer in her. she has deemed optimism as a form of self-deceit, and sticks to what she believes is the truth- the world is corrupted at its core and hapiness is a lie others use to blind themselves with. so she has taken the woe-full burden of opening the eyes of the world upon herself. by doing her best to prove to all that hapiness has an end. and she does her best to make the end brutal. Relations without any joy, and having renounced her own parents, the only ones willing to interact with her are her siblings. the middle one was... tolerable. he found out bits of the truth she could not comprehend. he was still lying to himself with that foul happiness, but he was closer to seeing the light. her youngest brother was a fool. she only spoke to him when she had to, and eventually he simply let her be. she is perfectly content with that. and her parents? they deserted her. never spoke to her. she resented them with all her heart. Background When she and her siblings hatched, the first thing they saw was the smiling face of a light-furred tundra. the first thing they felt was pride beaming up from high. when they looked, for the first time, they saw their parents. proud and strong, and in their ever-vigilante watch upon the defending claw. she hissed. why not come? why stay away? did they dislike her? did she do something wrong? they never spoke to her. so maybe she did. with this realization, she grew bitter. her own parents disowned her at birth for a thing which she didnt even know what it was. as the days went by, her bitterness turned into her unhealthy focus. and, if she is so bitter, and without hapiness.... that means hapiness should be something you shouldnt feel, right? so why was everyone happy? it was wrong. she needed to fix that. and with that realization, and armed with a potent poison her brother brewed, she began to destroy hapiness, one drop at the time. |
